“Following a flood in a wing of the College buildings, the College Boardroom required extensive renovation, and replacement furniture. On the back of other works which the College had procured all furniture for the recently completed Alexander Graham Bell Centre, Claremont were again selected to supply the replacement Boardroom furniture”
Regarding the Alexander Graham Bell Centre:
On completion of a procurement process administered by the Advanced Procurement for Universities & Colleges (APUC) on behalf of the the College, Claremont were selected at an early stage to supply all furniture for the new centre. Once the more formal requirements had been met, Claremont fully engaged with both ourselves and the architects in an effort to produce a selection of furniture which was not only fit for purpose, by give a certain ‘wow factor’ to this brand new wing.
In terms of the building, the finished article has been well received from both staff, students and others who use the facility. A lot of the comments have been extremely favourable particularly on the quality of the selected furniture, seating style, comfort and selected fabrics and colours. It’s both extremely important from an FM perspective to select fabrics which are easily maintained on a daily basis, and provide best value in the longer term.
It is the intention of the College to maintain this partnership we currently have with Claremont for the foreseeable future.”
